The Italic Text icon will change the angle of the text from normal to italic or italic to normal. This option is a toggle switch that gets highlighted if the angle is italic. If the selected text item is already italicized (the icon will be highlighted) and this option is chosen, the text returns to normal. |
How to italicize text
If you are changing the italics of existing text blocks then highlight the text block. If you are adding text then it will be added either Italicized or Non-Italicized depending on the status of the Italics icon.
