Line Type

The Line Type option allows for control over the type of line pattern to use when drawing lines, polylines, or edges around rectangles, circles, rounded rectangles, polygons, and text borders.

How to select a line type before drawing an object

1. Click on Format in the Main Menu with the left-most mouse button.
2. Click on Line Type with the left-most mouse button and the above will appear on the right side of the canvas.
3. Click on the desired Line Type with the left-most mouse button. The new line type will be displayed in the Line Width section of the Attributes Display area.

How to change a line type of a drawn object

1. Select the object to be changed by clicking the left-most mouse button while on the object.
2. Follow steps 1 through 3 as described in the section: How to select a line type before drawing an object

You should immediately see the line type change on the object. If the object is a rectangle, circle, rounded rectangle, or polygon, then the edge must be applied to the object for the line type to become active.
