Panning the Canvas

The Pan Canvas icon is used to move the canvas in the viewport area. Its function is comparable to the horizontal and vertical scroll bars. The pan canvas icon is useful because it can move the horizontal and vertical scroll bars simultaneously.

How to pan the canvas

1. Select the Pan Canvas icon with the left-most mouse button.
2. Move the cursor to the canvas. The cursor will be in the shape of a hand.
3. Click on the left-hand mouse button and drag the canvas.
4. Release the button to cease moving the canvas.
