Show Grid

The Show Grid option displays a grid on the canvas for easy alignment of objects on the canvas. The grid on the canvas is invisible in the final product therefore does not show up when exporting the file to CGM.

Show Grid is a toggle switch. The first time you select Show Grid, the grid is turned on and displayed on the canvas. The second time you select Show Grid, the grid is turned off.

The color of the grid can be changed only immediately after it has been turned on and only one color can be selected. To change the color of the grid, it must be turned OFF then ON and then select the color

How to turn the grid on or off

1. Click on View in the Main Menu with the left-most mouse button.
2. Click on Show Grid with the left-most mouse button.

How to change the color of the grid

1. Turn the grid ON either by following the steps above or using the Quick icon.
2. Select the desired color.
3. To change the color again, you must turn grid OFF and then follow steps 1-2.
