Text

Once you have selected the text option, you will be able to insert text until you either dismiss the cursor from inserting text back to normal canvas cursor operation or select another draw option.

The text will be drawn with the Font Type and Font Size selected in the appropriate windows on the Standard Toolbar. These can be changed before or after inserting text.

How to

1. Click on Draw in the Main Menu with the left-most mouse button.
2. Click on Text with the left-most mouse button.
3. The following text editor pop-up box will appear:

   

4. The cursor will be blinking in the Text Editor. Type the desired text in the Text Editor box.
5. When you are finished typing and are ready to add the text to the canvas, click on OK. If you do not want to add the text, click on Cancel.
6. If you click on OK, the text box will disappear, and you will get a normal cursor with a text box adhered to the cursor. To put the text on the canvas, move your cursor to the desired location, and click on the left-most mouse button. The text will then appear on the canvas.
