Single-Point Editing

The Single-Point Editor is useful for changing the shape of drawn objects. It can transform a rectangle into an oddly shaped polygon by taking a "hotspot" and moving it to a different location on the canvas.

Editing with the single-point editor on a spline curve will not generate a new spline curve if you move one of the "hotspots"

How to

  1. Select the object to be edited.
  2. Click on the Single-Point Editing icon and the editing handles will appear.
  3. Click on the desired handle with the left-most mouse button and drag the handle to the new location. Releasing the handle, by releasing the button, will terminate the moving.
  4. To deselect the object from being edited, click in an empty space on the canvas.
