Open...

The Open option allows you to bring in a layout file that PlotShop has previously produced.

To bring in a CGM, CGM+, Image or PostScript file, please use the Import option.

How to

1. Click on File in the Main Menu with the left mouse button.
2. Click on Open... and the following dialog will appear:

   

3. To open a file, select the desired file (the filename will become highlighted and appear in the Selection box) and click OK.
4. If the file you want to bring into the canvas does not reside in the filter directory, you can move to the desired file's directory in the following ways:
   • Highlight the filter and type in the desire path and wildcard entry to match then click the Filter button.
   • Click on the <directory>/.. and click the Filter button to move up one directory. A quick way of moving around is to double click on the <directory>/.. entry.

Clicking on a directory and clicking Filter will automatically change the filter path and display the contents of the highlighted directory.
