PlotShop is the perfect tool for putting together presentation posters, annotating maps and seismic data, and displaying differently formatted files together on the same canvas.
PlotShop allows you to import image file formats ranging from the simple postscript file to a CGM+ file generated from PC or UNIX based applications and merge them into a common ISO conforming CGM file.
Once the files have been imported, you can arrange, scale, associate, annotate, and draw elements to help communicate a desired message effectively.
Because its development was based on Motif/X Window standards with the general PC application functionality in mind, PlotShop provides a clear and intuitive graphical user interface (GUI) that allows you to start working immediately.
All of the options you need to perform typical functions are available in easily accessible icons as well as in descriptive pull down menus. The inexperienced UNIX user will be comfortable manipulating PlotShop to achieve the final montage.
