Publishing technical information to industry standards such as ASD S1000D or ATA iSpec2200 is easier with our HotSpot CGM software. One of the biggest challenges facing any publishing project is how to revise and update legacy drawings.

Typically, updating legacy CGM drawings to IETMs with active hotspots is a time consuming task. Often, involving the use of expensive tech publishing software to identify, create and link each hotspot individually. Large IETMs may have tens of thousands of hotspots, requiring many man-hours of effort and expense.

Extraction Tool to extract all "real" text from your files, creating a formatted list of all text strings with the coordinates of their extents.
Target Extraction scripts for alpha & numeric strings. For instance, you can set up the Extract tool to only recognize an alpha/numeric string beginning with the letters "PN" followed by a number so it will only tag Part Numbers on a drawing, and leave any descriptive text alone.
Append Toolappends hotspots to the targeted area of the CGM drawing with the appropriate URL targets.
Flexible Work-flow you can add or replace developed applications, which refer to databases, or add screen tips text & actual URL links.
